Guidelines of Laboratory
General Guidelines
All users must register at the reception counter.
All users must display their badges prominently at all times.
Loss of user badges or room keys must be reported immediately to EZU Rentals Ltd staff at 2666-2000.
Users must provide valid information and update regularly.
Minimum rental charge is 2 hours.
User should pay the lab rent at the time of registration.
All users are to be properly attired when working at the laboratory (no shorts, slippers, sunglasses, helmet, dirty boots, etc.).
Only pre-registered operation user(s) is/are allowed working inside laboratory. Each and every user has to register and exchange a badge at the reception counter.
All users must take care of their unlocked properties. EZU Rentals Ltd is not responsible for any loss of thievery, stolen, robbery etc.
The laboratory does provide printing, faxing, scanning, photocopying and postal services at extra charges. User has to inform reception counter prior using the services.
EZU Rentals Ltd provides free wireless internet access.
No loitering is allowed.
EZU Rentals Ltd is not responsible for any injuries, damages or losses during operation.
Laboratory Reservation
Advance reservation has to be made 1 day prior usage in normal case.
Under normal circumstances, any changes on laboratory configuration request have to be submitted to EZU Rentals Ltd at least 1 day in advance. However, if the change requires an unexpected amount of resources, users are advised to submit the request as early as possible and all subjects to availability.
Staff will notify user 5 minutes prior the end of timeslot. Rooms can be continued renting, subject to availability, unless with our staff confirmation. If not, users have to leave the laboratory with delay.
Rent will be calculated by every hour. Exceed time less than 1 hour is also regarding as 1 hour charges.
EZU Rentals Ltd reserves the right to forbid any person to enter the Laboratory if it is not satisfied with the proof of identity of the person.
Laboratory
The laboratory will loan a set of standard tools (cables) if required by customers.
No food and drinks are allowed in the Laboratory.
Smoking is not allowed in all areas.
All users are not to leave behind unwanted items brought in by them such as cables, bags, papers, jackets, etc.
No photograph or video taking in any form is allowed.
EZU Rentals Ltd Engineer will assist users; depend on the manpower availability and resources involved, to set up testing equipment. Every piece of the equipment must be within reasonable weight for an ordinary person to carry. EZU Rentals Ltd will NOT responsible for any equipment damage while setting up procedures. Additional consultation may be charged by man hour.
The laboratory will provide set of standard kit

- Temperature controlled soldering iron
- 100 MHz 2 channels digital storage oscilloscope
- Digital multi-meter
- 1 GHz Frequency Counter
- Programmable power supply
- One tools kit

It is prohibited to bring equipment into laboratory unless get the consent from EZU Rentals Ltd.
EZU Rentals Ltd is not responsible for all testing result and any losses induced.
User has to fill in the instrument checklist before leaving and ensure there are no missing instrument/accessories which should be in good working condition.
Customer Working Area
Based on advance booking only.
Customer must leave within their timeslots and remove all items brought in by them. Any time extension must get the consent of EZU Rentals Ltd.
Pantry
Used paper cups, plastic bag, tissue papers, etc must be thrown into the rubbish bin.
Office Area
Out of bound to all users unless authorised by EZU Rentals Ltd.
Meeting Room
Advance booking is required.
Each booking session is limited to 2 hours.
Cargo Lift
Subject to availability.
Fire Exits
To be used only during emergency.
Any unattended items must not block all passages.
Corridors
Any unattended items must not block all passages.
