Q: Is the rental price including freight charge?
A: Our entire quoted rental price is ex-works our warehouse in Hong Kong. It is not including any freight or delivery charge except Taiwan region (shipping terms).

2. Insurance
Q: Is the rental instrument being insured against loss or damage during rental period?
A: No, EZU do not provide insurance cover of rental unit. Customer should bear its risk during rental period. Customer should repay EZU for any losses or damages of the rental unit while return.

3. Rental Warranty
Q: What happen if the instrument that we rented develops a problem or failure?
A: Call or e-mail us the problem you encountered. Our support engineer will talk through the problem with you or e-mail the possible solution to you. If we cannot sort out the problem with you, we will send you an identical unit or similar possible replacement. We will also pay the two-way freight charge and we do not charge for the withholding period.

4. Import / Export Duties
Q: Is the rental charge including the import duties?
A: No, our price is ex-works our warehouse in Hong Kong. Any import duties / taxes are excluded except Taiwan region. Hence, you may work with your freight forwarder and government custom department for the temporary import of goods.

5. Import / Export Restriction
Q: Do we need to apply import/export license for the rental instruments?
A: You shall obtain all necessary license permits and permissions for the disposition of the instrument, and where the instrument is to be import/export. The customer shall observe and comply with all the requirements instructions and directives of the governmental authority as well as all statutory provisions, regulation, and rules.

6. Tax Issue
Q: Is the rental charge including the related tax in our country?
A: We will try our best to cooperate with you since difference countries have different taxation system. However, our rental charge is net excluding any tax and/or related expenses.

7. Rental Period Calculation
Q: How to determine the rental period?

Rental period start at the freight date on the AWB (Air Way Bill) and terminate at the return freight date on customer's AWB. We are highly recommended our customer using the international courier like UPS, FEDEX and DHL, etc. So we can check the status of the instrument.

Case study:
Delivery - We ship out your ordered items on 1st of March and the freight date on the airway bill is 2nd of March. Finally, you received the items on 5th of March.
Return - You return the items and ship out on next month of 8th April and the freight date on the airway bill is 10th April. Finally, we received the items on 13th of April.
The total rental charge will be calculated as:
From 2nd March to 2nd April (one month) + From 3rd April to 10th April (8 days 8/30) So, the rental period is 1 month and 8 days.
